Selected regions of an image can be analyzed with the zonal menu (fig. 37), where the same procedures are available as in the global menu (fig. 26).

The region to be analyzed has to be selected with the mouse as depicted in fig. 38.

The analysis is performed by a click with the right mouse button.
Fig. 39 shows the zonal analysis of the marked region in fig. 38 with the TPSA procedure using only the odd environments 3, 9 and 17 and tap 4 (see [4]).

The analysis in fig. 39 was performed with
the TPSA, all, 4+8 procedure (comp. fig. 37),
where the white markers, which are even environments and tap 4,
have been excluded with the mouse. Though there remain only three points,
the the linear dependence is quite obvious and the dimension is determined
with the formulas and specifications given in [4]
